A QuickBooks company file mainly uses two different files, one is data file and the other is backup file. Along with both these files, it uses other different files to store data or information. In data files, you store your data and due to various reasons, these data files get prone to corruption. In case of corruption, QuickBooks company data file starts showing abrupt behavior, resulting in the loss of valuable financial information of the organization. In such situations, a recently taken valid backup proves really beneficial. However, if backup is not available, or deficient, then such cases need to be dealt with the help of a third party recovery tool.

Let us consider a real time scenario. Suppose, you are using QuickBooks accounting software and while using it, you came across a serious problem with the application; QuickBooks company file is showing wrong balance in the undeposited funds account because of corrupt or damaged transactions.

To solve the above stated erroneous situation, first you have to trace out the corrupt or damaged transactions that are causing problems in the company data file. Following steps will guide you through the process:

1. Maintain a backup copy of the QuickBooks file and do not overwrite the backup.
2. Select Banking > Make Deposits.
3. Just deposit all the transactions listed in the Window of Payments to Deposit by making a memo, so that you can see the deposits later.
4. Select Report > Custom Summary Report.
5. Select Modify Report and perform the below steps:
• Use the drop down arrow to click Display rows and choose Payee.
• Select the Advanced button, choose Non-zero in the section of Display Rows, and then click OK.
6. Select the Filters tab by below steps:

Which is the storage media that store major portion of your data? Is it the pen drive, CD, DVD, any other external media or the hard drive of your computer? Yes, it is the hard drive of the computer that primarily stores all the data, before you transfer them to any other media. For its rigorous use or sometimes, for your mistakes, hard drive gets damaged and all your data in the drive becomes lost or inaccessible. In such a situation, if you do not have a previously taken valid backup, then the hard drive need to be treated by opting professional hard disk recovery services.

You may have encountered many data loss incidents in day to day life, including data deletion, formatting, file system corruption, operating system malfunction, inaccessibility of data due to virus/malware infection etc. In all such cases, the recovery of lost/inaccessible data can be performed by using any third-party recovery software.
But, what if the head of the hard drive has been damaged, the motor is not working, the acuter arm has been displaced, the circuit board has been blown away by a bad short-circuit or a firmware corruption! No software is able to deal with these mechanical, electrical or firmware failure. In case of a physical damage to the hard disk, first of all the hard disk needs to be repaired inside specially maintained CLASS 100 Clean Room labs and then only the data in it can be retrieved back.

Note: CLASS 100 Clean Room is a prime requisite for hard disk data recovery, in which there are less than 100 dust particles (size below 0.5 microns) per cubic foot of air present in comparison to some thousand numbers in even closed office/home environment.
The most prominent reason behind unsuccessful hard drive recovery is the experiments on the troubled devices. Recovery operations on the damaged hard disk by any inexperienced person or at your own just lead to some disastrous results leading to loss of data beyond recovery.

Hard disk recovery is a specialized job and not only need expertise but also many scientific tools, techniques and infrastructure like CLASS 100 Clean Room. Hence, it is always safe to opt for professional hard disk recovery service providers to perform the recovery task.
