Rectifying “A Media Card has been inserted that contains errors” Memory Card Error

Digital cameras have revolutionized the photography with their excellent picture quality, ease of use, and reliability. They use flash memory or memory cards to store pictures. The memory cards use flash memory to store photos, which are shot using digital cameras. They do not contain any moving components, and thus are considered more reliable as compared to magnetic storage devices. However, in some situations, the memory cards may face logical corruption due to damaged or missing data structures. In such critical circumstances, you can not access the photos stored on media. If files are invisible:

It may be due to logical corruption of the memory card. Try accessing the device using card reader. If the card is still inaccessible, formatting is the only option to solve this problem. The process is safe only if you have complete backup of your photos, else you have to go for Photo Recovery using third-party tools.

If contents are visible:

This situations is quite safe as compared to the first one. Here, you can save your data to hard drive, format the memory card, and then copy data back to memory card for accessing it.
