In the 18 years that I've been working with Lotus Notes and Domino in various organisations, I've never actually needed special recovery software.
ReplyDeleteLike most DBMS, Domino comes with FIXUP and COMPACT commands which can resolve these kinds of issues. It's also very easy to backup and recover data from these databases - and easy to take local copies and replicas.
Of course, it's good to know that there's third-party software out there to help too.
