Microsoft .NET Framework, as the name suggests, is the software framework designed to work for Windows operating systems. It is the tool used by various Windows applications to achieve visual experience and secure communication. .NET Framework consists of a virtual machine to manage program execution and a huge library of solutions to answer most of the general programming problems. But while installing .NET Framework on your Windows-based system, you need to be cautious. If installation fails due to unexpected shutdown like reasons, you might need to reformat the hard disk to remove the incomplete installation. However, after reformatting the hard disk, you should restore the lost data from backup. In case if backup fails to offer the required results, data recovery solutions can recover lost data and serve as a rescue.
As an example, you try to install Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0.3705 on your Windows based system. But an unexpected power outage or any other failure occurs and the installation fails. This leaves your system in an unstable state.
Solution
To fix such issues, you need to manually remove the .NET Framework 1.0.3705:
- If you have beta Microsoft .NET Framework installed on your system, you need to reformat the hard disk to reinstall .NET Framework. Restore lost data from backup and in any case of backup issues, use powerful data recovery software.
- If you haven’t installed beta Microsoft .NET Framework, you should first remove the NET Framework 1.0.3705 information from Microsoft Windows Installer cache. This cached file is displayed as Microsoft .NET Framework (English) RTL x86 enu. Next, you need to manually remove all its files from system by accessing System32 folder and also all its registry keys from Windows Registry. After this, you should zap the information of Windows Installer and clean all the contents from Temp folder to install .NET Framework 1.0.3705.
- If NET Framework 1.1.4322 is installed, you need to repair it using command prompt. However, if Microsoft .NET Framework is included in Windows operating system, you should repair or reinstall the operating system. After reinstalling Windows, you require using your recent data backup or commercial data recovery tools to restore the lost data back.
